On August 28, 2008 I began working through S.D. Gordon’s booklet, Quiet Talks on John.  I knew of Gordon’s works because I had studied in depth his Quiet Talks on Prayer—a beautiful study of Jesus’ prayer life.  In all, Gordon produced 22 books in a Quiet Talks series.
