Dr. J. Robert Clinton, from 1981 to the present, has directed the Leadership concentration in the School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Seminary and served as professor of leadership. He models and teaches the concepts of lifelong leadership development and is involved in mentoring relationships with emerging leaders.

 
Dr. Clinton???s extensive publications on leadership development include??Focused Lives??(1995),??Connecting: The Mentoring Relationships You Need to Succeed in Life??(1992), and??The Making of a Leader??(1989). His most recent research and writings have been focused on studying the Bible for leadership findings. He has completed 14 Biblical Leadership Commentaries including commentaries on First and Second Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Philippians, John, First and Second Corinthians, Haggai, Habakkuk, Jonah, Nehemiah, Daniel, and Obadiah. Clinton is presently working with others on the commentaries for First and Second Samuel and Acts. Before coming to Fuller, he and his wife Marilyn were missionaries with World Team for 11 years with terms in Jamaica and in the home office.

Dr. Clinton???s courses include Leadership Training Models, Value-Based Leadership in the Old Testament, Value-Based Leadership in the New Testament, Mentoring, Lifelong Development, and Focused Lives.
