The Way to Look at Leadership

This position paper provides an overview of the tree diagram of leadership with it's three fundamental concepts of leadership: basal elements, leadership influence means and leadership value bases. This framework is cross-culturally valid.
The tree diagram presented is the final result of the study of the historical paradigmatic eras of leadership theory as given in A Short History of Leadership Theory (1986). This became the framework applied cross-culturally to leadership research at SIS (6 p.)
